Regular Season Round 7: Reims - COB Calais 59-61

LF2 round 7 most important game was a victory of COB Calais over 8th ranked Reims 61-59 on Saturday night. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Chandra Harris (185-89, college: Georgia St.) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 7 rebounds. Croatian forward Matea Vrdoljak (183-85, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Guard Fleur Devillers (181-95) answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Montenegrin center Natasa Popovic (192-82) added 6 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Reims. COB Calais (4-3) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Montbrison. Reims lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Arras and Avenir. COB Calais is looking forward to face higher ranked Toulouse (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Reims will play against the league's leader Angers and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
