Regular Season Round 10: Olimpia - COR Victoria 106-43

Premier League top team - Olimpia (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked BrGU COR Victoria (2-7) in Grodno 106-43. The game without a history. Olimpia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held BrGU COR Victoria to an opponent 22.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 51.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Olimpia forced 27 BrGU COR Victoria turnovers and outrebounded them 53-35 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Olimpia players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by BrGU COR Victoria's players. Forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (180-87) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international Darya Mahalias (180-93) supported her with 18 points. Four Olimpia players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds by forward Anastasia Babak (177-2) did not help to save the game for BrGU COR Victoria. Liudmila Karynchuk (173-95) added 8 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Olimpia have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-0 record. BrGU COR Victoria lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with seven games lost. Olimpia will again play against BrGU COR Victoria (#6) in Brest in the next round where they are favorite. BrGU COR Victoria will have a break next round.
