Regular Season Round 7: Roche - Lattes Montp. 64-68

Bottom-ranked Roche (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 68-64 loss to fifth ranked Lattes Montpellier (4-2) in La Roche. They also forced 20 Roche turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Fatimatou Sacko (183-85) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 7 rebounds. Ornella Bankole (181-97) contributed with 15 points for the winners. DR Congolese center Bernadette Ngoyisa (195-82) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Kristen Mann (185-83, college: UCSB, agency: ProDep Management) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Roche. Four Roche players scored in double figures. Lattes Montpellier maintains fifth place with 4-2 record. Roche lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with seven games lost. Lattes Montpellier will play against league's leader Bourges at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Roche will play against Nice (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
