Very predictable result when seventh ranked Baskonia (5-4) outscored on the road 17th ranked Burgos (1-8) 100-76. The game without a history. Baskonia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. It was a good game for Georgian Tornike Shengelia (206-91) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Latvian forward Janis Timma (201-92) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Serbian center Goran Huskic (210-92, college: Howard Col., TX) answered with 14 points and 6 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Deividas Gailius (200-88) added 15 points in the effort for Burgos. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
