Regular Season Round 11: Fyllingen BBK - Baerum Basket 91-80

The game in Fyllingen was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Baerum Basket (6-8) played at the court of seventh ranked Fyllingen BBK (6-6). Fyllingen BBK defeated Baerum Basket 91-80 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 52-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Fyllingen BBK dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Baerum Basket's 30. They outrebounded Baerum Basket 58-26 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Fyllingen BBK looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Guard Stian Enge (190-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Fyllingen BBK players scored in double figures. Canadian guard Keith Omoerah (194-92) answered with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and French guard Davy Baltus (188, college: Livingstone) added 14 points in the effort for Baerum Basket. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fyllingen BBK moved-up to third place, which they share with Froya Basket. Loser Baerum Basket dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Fyllingen BBK will have a break next round. Baerum Basket will play on the road against Tromso (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
