Regular Season Round 14: Nishinomiya S. - Tochigi Brex 60-63

Important game to mention about took place in Hyogo. Sixth ranked Tochigi Brex (7-10) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging one of their biggest challengers Nishinomiya S. (4-13) 63-60 in the fight for the third place. American power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international power forward Kosuke Takeuchi (206-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. American forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) added 7 points in the effort for Nishinomiya S.Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with San-en and Toyama Grouses. Nishinomiya S. lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourth position with 13 games lost. Tochigi Brex will face San-en NeoPhoenix (#3) in Hamamatsu in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Nishinomiya S. will play on the road against Osaka Evessa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
