The game in Tokyo supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Saitama Broncos (5-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (1-5). Saitama Broncos smashed Tokyo Cinq R. 107-81 on Sunday. Saitama Broncos made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Saitama Broncos had a 33-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Tokyo Cinq R.'s players. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Nishi Yutaro (176-92) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!) (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and American forward Ferrakohn Hall (203-90, college: Memphis) who added 16 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. American forward Drew Martin (203-94, college: Concordia, OR) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Yamaguchi Kenzu (182-94) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Tokyo Cinq R. players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Saitama Broncos maintains second position with 5-1 record behind leader Tokyo HT. Tokyo Cinq R. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with five games lost. Saitama Broncos will have a break next round. Tokyo Cinq R. will play on the road against Kagoshima (#6) in Renova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
