The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Djurgarden as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Djurgarden smashed 9th ranked LF Future in Stockholm 100-70. Djurgarden well out of reach of LF Future shooting 73.1 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Brandon Barton (192-88, agency: Diamond Sports) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and American-Haitian point guard Cliff Colimon (182-89, college: E.Washington) who added 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five Djurgarden players scored in double figures. American guard Brian Curry (185-86) responded with 27 points and naturalized Iraqi forward Samir Ali-Hussein (200-92) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Djurgarden have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. LF Future lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with nine games lost. LF Future will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Djurgarden will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Trelleborg at home.
