Regular Season Round 8: Dinamica MNV - Alma Trieste 74-84

Undefeated leader Alma Trieste delivered the eighth consecutive victory. This time they beat 12th ranked Dinamica MNV (3-5) 84-74 in Mirandola. Strangely Dinamica MNV outrebounded Alma Trieste 42-25 including a 20-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by forward Matteo Da-Ros (204-89) who scored that evening 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Javonte Green (193-93, college: Radford, agency: Duran International) supported him with 24 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds by the former international power forward Francesco Candussi (211-94) did not help to save the game for Dinamica MNV. American-Guinean forward Robert Jones (201-84, college: Washington) added 18 points and 14 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the hosts. Alma Trieste maintains first position in A2 with 8-0 record. Dinamica MNV at the other side dropped to the thirteenth place with five games lost. Alma Trieste's next round opponent will be Roseto Sharks (#16) at home which should be an easy win for them. Dinamica MNV will play against Aurira Jesi and hope to win that game.
