Regular Season Round 8: GSA Udine - Aurora Jesi 68-70

The biggest surprise of round 8 was guest Aurira Jesi's (#4) road victory over GSA Udine (#5) 70-68 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Pierpaolo Marini (193-93) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. American Kyndall Dykes (192-87, college: New Orleans) produced 13 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Ousmane Diop (204-0) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. GSA Udine's coach Lino Lardo rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Aurira Jesi maintains fourth position in A2 with 6-2 record. GSA Udine at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. Aurira Jesi are looking forward to face Dinamica MNV (#13) in Mirandola in the next round and are hoping to win another game. GSA Udine will play at home against UCC Piacenza (#12) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
