Regular Season Round 9: Fabriano - Recanati 50-73

Very expected game when 14th ranked Fabriano (3-6) was smashed at home by seventh ranked Recanati (5-4) 73-50 on Sunday. It was a good game for point guard Francesco Guarino (182-79, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 7 assists. Guard Giacomo Gurini (192-84) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Recanati players scored in double figures. Center Lorenzo Bruno (201-91) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Fabrizio Gialloreto (187-87) added 11 points in the effort for Fabriano. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Recanati moved-up to sixth place in B, which they share with Olginate. Newly promoted Fabriano dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. Recanati will face Bisceglie (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fabriano will play against Teramo and hope to win that game.
