Top Division Women top team - Castors Braine (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed eighth ranked B.Willebroek (3-7) 117-54. Castors Braine held B.Willebroek to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 52.9 percent accuracy of the winners and made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. Castors Braine forced 27 B.Willebroek turnovers and outrebounded them 55-30 including a 38-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian-Bosnian center Nikolina Milic (191-94, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The former international guard Vreny Van-Driel (175-88) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Ann-Lydia Boel (182-88) added 6 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for B.Willebroek. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Castors Braine have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 10-0 record. B.Willebroek lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth place with seven games lost. Castors Braine are looking forward to face Liege (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. B.Willebroek will play against Laarne and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
