Important game to mention about took place in Hertzeliya. Seventh ranked Bnot Hertzeliya (3-3) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Ramat Hasharon (2-4) 74-71 on Monday evening. Strangely Ramat Hasharon outrebounded Bnot Hertzeliya 47-30 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. It was a good game for point guard Matee Ajavon (173-86, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with 16 points and 9 assists. Power forward Nikki Greene (193-90, college: Penn St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Forward Shae Kelley (185-91, college: Minnesota) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and forward Lauren Ervin (191-85, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) added 12 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Ramat Hasharon. Four Bnot Hertzeliya and five Ramat Hasharon players scored in double figures. Bnot Hertzeliya moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Hap.Petah Tikva. Ramat Hasharon at the other side keeps the eighth position with four games lost. Bnot Hertzeliya will play against higher ranked Elitzur Holon (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ramat Hasharon will play against Hap.Petah Tikva (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
