Shanghai Dahua dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Kylin's 38. American forward Breanna Stewart (193-94, college: Connecticut) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Center Zhangzhi Ting (193-95) contributed with 8 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Lu Wen (188-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and international center Mengran Sun (197-92) added 20 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Bayi Kylin. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Shanghai Dahua. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Beijing. Loser Bayi Kylin dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. Shanghai Dahua will face Shaanxi Tianze (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bayi Kylin will play against Xinjiang (#6) in Urumqi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
