Regular Season Round 8: Roche - Nice 57-55

Roche's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after seven consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Nice (2-6) 57-55. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Kristen Mann (185-83, college: UCSB, agency: ProDep Management) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 5 rebounds and DR Congolese center Bernadette Ngoyisa (195-82) who added 12 points during the contest. American guard Antiesha Brown (178-92, college: N.Mexico) responded with 18 points and naturalized Mali center Naignouma Coulibaly (191-89) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Newly promoted Roche maintains twelfth position with 1-7 record. It was Nice's third loss in a row. They dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. They share the position with Mondeville. Roche will play against higher ranked Hainaut (#9) in Saint-Amand in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Nice will play at home against Lattes Montpellier and hopes to get back on the winning track.
