Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Dublin: Killester (#5) and DCU Saints (#10). Killester (7-4) crushed visiting DCU Saints (4-7) by 32 points 98-66. Killester dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to DCU Saints' 44. Killester forced 23 DCU Saints turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by DCU Saints' players. Portuguese Rodrigo Garcia orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. International point guard Ciaran Roe (170-93) contributed with 16 points and 8 assists for the winners. Four Killester players scored in double figures. American center Dee Proby (208-88, college: Oklahoma City) answered with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 17 rebounds and guard James Harding (173) added 3 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for DCU Saints. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Killester moved-up to third place, which they share with Templeogue and Tralee. Loser DCU Saints keep the tenth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
