Regular Season Round 10: Moron - Albacete 90-69

There was a change at the LEB Silver leadership position after last games. Round 10 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Albacete (7-3). They were crushed by eighth ranked Moron (6-4) 90-69 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Moron. Albacete managed to win third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Moron outrebounded Albacete 39-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Albacete helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court. Ted Hinnenkamp (201-93, college: Dickinson, agency: Duran International) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Taylor Cameron (196-91, college: Winona St.) chipped in 20 points during the contest. Four Moron players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Garret Covington (196-94, college: W.Illinois, agency: Two Points) responded with 20 points and center Babatunde Olumuyiwa (203-92, college: USC Upstate) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Moron moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Albacete at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Granada who have the same record. Albacete will play next round against Plasencia trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Moron will try to continue on its current victory against thirteenth ranked Real Canoe in Madrid.
