Regular Season Round 6: Xinjiang - Bayi 79-73

Not a big story in a game in Urumqi where 10th ranked Bayi Kylin (2-4) was defeated by sixth ranked Xinjiang (4-2) 79-73. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a good game for guard Lee Wang (170-92) who led her team to a victory with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Yajing Sun (183-89) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Lu Wen (188-90) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds and international center Mengran Sun (197-92) added 11 points in the effort for Bayi Kylin. Four Bayi Kylin players scored in double figures. Bayi Kylin's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Xinjiang moved-up to third place, which they share with Liaoning and Guangdong. Bayi Kylin at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Xinjiang's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Shaanxi Tianze (#14) which should be an easy win for them. Bayi Kylin will play against Zhejiang Far East (#12) in Hangzhou and hope to win that game.
