Regular Season Round 12: Sokol Lancut - Pruszkow 87-81

Rather predictable result when third ranked Sokol Lancut (10-2) beat at home 7th ranked Pruszkow (5-6) 87-81 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Sokol Lancut forced 20 Pruszkow turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Sokol Lancut looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Marek Zywert (192-96) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and point guard Kamil Zywert (185-96) who added 16 points and 9 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Damian Cechniak (208-93) with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Tomasz Madziar (195-92) scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Pruszkow players scored in double figures. Pruszkow's coach Marek Zapalowski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sokol Lancut maintains third position with 10-2 record behind leader Spojnia. Pruszkow lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. They share the position with Enea Astoria. Sokol Lancut will meet R8 Krakow (#5) on the road in the next round. Pruszkow will play against Slask (#12) and hope to secure a win.
