Regular Season Round 12: Froya Basket - Centrum 94-84

Not a big story in a game in Laksevag where 10th ranked Centrum (1-11) was defeated by fourth ranked Froya Basket (7-6) 94-84 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Froya Basket. Centrum was better in third quarter 25-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Froya Basket won last quarter 27-18. They also forced 21 Centrum turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Nikolas Skouen (190-90, college: Pepperdine, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Arne Ingebrigtsen (197-90, college: Cuesta JC) who added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Torvald Kambestad (198-96) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) scored 15 points and 5 steals. Four Froya Basket and five Centrum players scored in double figures. Froya Basket moved-up to third place. Defending champion Centrum stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Froya Basket will face Gimle BBK (#4) in Bergen in the next round. Centrum's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Oslo Ammerud Bskt.
