Very predictable result when tenth ranked Agustinos-Leclerc (6-4) defeated on the road 15th ranked Martorell (1-9) 92-88 on Saturday. Martorell trailed 49-47 at halftime, rallying from a 30-15 deficit at the end of first quarter to trim the gap. Agustinos-Leclerc had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Donovan Smith (206, college: Quinnipiac) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Slovenian forward Andraz Kavas (208-92, college: Harding, agency: Two Points) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side guard Xavi Guirao (190-87) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Mohamadou Diop (-87) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds.
