Regular Season Round 8: Tresnjevka - Podravac 85-46

Prva Liga top team - Tresnjevka (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Podravac (4-3) in Zagreb 85-46. Tresnjevka held Podravac to an opponent 21.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Tresnjevka forced 20 Podravac turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Podravac's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Karla Erjavec (172-99) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Nika Muhl (177-1) who added 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Tresnjevka players scored in double figures. Guard Valentina Simunic (175-98) responded with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Dijana Bukovcan (-92) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tresnjevka have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-0 record. Podravac at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Zadar. Tresnjevka will play against Pula C.Tours (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Podravac will have a break next round.
