Regular Season Round 9: Agribertocchi OR - Unieuro Forli 88-85

There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Agribertocchi OR (2-7) edged higher ranked Unieuro Forli (4-5) in Orzinuovi 88-85 on Sunday. Agribertocchi OR made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. It was a good game for naturalized American point guard Anthony Raffa (185-89, college: Co.Carolina) who led his team to a victory with 33 points (!!!). Latvian Arturs Strautins (198-98) contributed with 8 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Matteo Fallucca (196-93) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Maltese-American Darryl Jackson (190-85, college: Warner Pacific, agency: Diamond Sports) added 20 points in the effort for Unieuro Forli. Four Unieuro Forli players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Agribertocchi OR maintains fifteenth place in A2 with 2-7 record. Loser Unieuro Forli dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Agribertocchi OR will face higher ranked UCC Piacenza (#12) in Casalpusterlengo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
