Regular Season Round 9: Savonese - Bologna 43-66

Date: November 26, 2017
Very predictable result when third ranked Bologna (8-1) smashed on the road 11th ranked Savonese (2-6) 66-43 on Sunday. Bologna forced 24 Savonese turnovers. The former international point guard Raelin DAlie (168-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: LBM Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and point guard Elisabetta Tassinari (175-94) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was center Faidra Skiadopoulou (192-90) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds and guard Lucrezia Zanetti (175-97) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bologna maintains third place in A2 with 8-1 record behind leader Sesto SG. Newly promoted Savonese keeps the eleventh position with six games lost. Bologna will face Umbertide (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Savonese will play against Orvieto and hope to win that game.
