No shocking result in a game when third ranked Pescara (6-4) won against at home 12th ranked Cerignola Udas (3-7) 77-69 on Sunday. Center Andrea Capitanelli (208-86) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Ennio Leonzio (191-94) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Giovanni Gambarota (190-89) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Simone Colonnelli (185-91) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pescara maintains third position in B with 6-4 record having four points less than leader San Severo, which they share with Vicenza. Newly promoted Cerignola Udas dropped to the fourteenth place with seven games lost. Pescara will face Matera (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Cerignola Udas will play against Porto S.Elpidio (#5) and hope to win that game.
