It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Santos. Soles made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Eugene Phelps (198-90, college: Long Beach St.) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds. The other American import forward John Flowers (200-89, college: W.Virginia, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. American-Dominican Antonio Pena (204-86, college: Villanova) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Curtis Withers (203-84, college: Charlotte, agency: Interperformances) added 17 points and 15 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) respectively for the hosts. Despite that victory Soles went down to third position due to points difference. Loser Santos dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. Soles will meet at home Capitanes (#4) in the next round. Santos will play against the league's second-placed Mineros and hope to secure a win.
