There was a minor upset when higher ranked Giulianova (5-5) was edged at home by tenth ranked Matera (5-5) 64-61 on Sunday. They made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Center Nicolo Ravazzani (198-85) had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Argentinian swingman Franco Migliori (200-82) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Four Matera players scored in double figures. At the losing side Nicola Bastone (196-92) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Antonello Ricci (190-92, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 13 points. Giulianova's coach Davide Tisato rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Matera moved-up to sixth place in B, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Giulianova. Matera will face higher ranked Pescara (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
