Rather predictable result in Valladolid where fifth ranked Blancos de Rueda (7-4) outscored 7th ranked Caceres Basket (5-6) 85-65 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Blancos de Rueda. Caceres Basket managed to win second period 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for center Sergio De-La-Fuente (198-89) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Austrian forward Maximilian Hopfgartner (206-92, college: John Brown, agency: Dynamics Global Management) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. Blancos de Rueda will meet higher ranked Melilla Baloncesto (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
