San Lorenzo outrebounded Weber Bahia 42-24 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Weber Bahia was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for international point guard Nicolas Aguirre (188-88) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. International forward Gabriel Deck (199-95) contributed with 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four San Lorenzo players scored in double figures. International Maximo Fjellerup (198-97) answered with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Facundo Corvalan (188-98) added 11 points in the effort for Weber Bahia. Weber Bahia's coach Sebastian Ginobili gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. San Lorenzo will face Comunicaciones (#19) in Mercedes in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Weber Bahia will play on the road against Salta Basket and hope to win that game.
