The game in Joensuu supposed to be also worth to mention about. 6th ranked BC Nokia (6-7) played at the court of eighth ranked Joensuun Kataja (5-5). Joensuun Kataja smashed BC Nokia 99-76. BC Nokia was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 64-38 second half run of Joensuun Kataja. Joensuun Kataja players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. American players dominated the game. Five Joensuun Kataja and four BC Nokia players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains eighth position with 5-5 record. BC Nokia lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with seven games lost. Joensuun Kataja will play against league's leader Salon Vilpas on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. BC Nokia will play against Helsinki Seagulls (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
