Regular Season Round 11: Breogan - Palma 93-80

Undefeated leader Leche Rio Breogan delivered the eleventh consecutive win on Wednesday night. This time they beat 11th ranked Palma (4-7) 93-80 in Lugo. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Palma. The game was mostly controlled by Leche Rio Breogan. Palma managed to win fourth quarter 32-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international center Guillem Rubio (202-82) who scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Brazilian forward Leonardo Demetrio (208-94) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Roger Fornas (202-82) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and forward Joan Tomas (202-92) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Leche Rio Breogan and four Palma players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leche Rio Breogan (11-0) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. Palma at the other side dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Leche Rio Breogan are looking forward to face Magia Huesca (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
