Regular Season Round 15: Aaguacateros - Fuerza Regia 75-82

LNBP top team - Fuerza Regia (10-5) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Aaguacateros (6-7) in Michoacan 82-75. Fuerza Regia made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Aaguacateros were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a quality performance for international forward Juan Toscano (198-93, college: Marquette, agency: BeoBasket) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Naturalized American guard Martin Samarco (190-85, college: Bowling Green) came up with 19 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Dominican guard Juan Coronado (193-83) added 14 points respectively for Aaguacateros in the defeat. Four Aaguacateros players scored in double figures. Aaguacateros' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Fuerza Regia went down to second position due to points difference. Aaguacateros at the other side dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. Fuerza Regia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aaguacateros will play again at home against the league's second-placed Fuerza Regia (#2) and hope to get back on the winning track.
