Leader Al-Ahli delivered the tenth victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked Al-Bahrain (3-8) 76-57 in Manama. Al-Ahli forced 21 Al-Bahrain turnovers. The winners were led by Nigerian forward Ndudi Ebi (206-84) who scored that evening 23 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Hesham Sarhan (-92) supported him with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Al-Ahli players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds by American forward Merrill Holden (203-93, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) did not help to save the game for Al-Bahrain. Fadhel Abbas added 8 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Al-Ahli (10-1) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Al-Bahrain at the other side keeps the tenth place with eight games lost. Al-Ahli's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Al-Manama in Manama and it will be for sure the game of the week. Al-Bahrain will play on the road against Hidd (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
