An interesting game was also tough home defeat of 4th ranked Guangdong Dolphins in a game in Guangzhou versus Heilongjiang (#8) 66-58. The winners were led by American center Aneika Henry-Morello (193-86, college: Florida) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard YanYan Ji (182-85) supported her with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Four Heilongjiang players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 9 rebounds by international center Yueru Li (192-99) did not help to save the game for Guangdong Dolphins. American power forward Amber Harris (195-88, college: Xavier) added 10 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Guangdong Dolphins' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Heilongjiang (4-4) moved-up to third place, which they share with Liaoning and Shandong. Loser Guangdong Dolphins keep the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Shanxi XR and Xinjiang. Heilongjiang will meet at home Shenyang Golden Lions (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Guangdong Dolphins will play against the league's leader Beijing Great Wall (#1) and hope to secure a win.
