Zwolle was ahead by 13 points after three quarters before a 36-20 charge of Rotterdam, which allowed them to win the game. Belgian point guard Ordane Kanda-Kanyinda (186-96) nailed 29 points, 8 assists and 5 steals for the winning side and American forward Chris Commons (206-84, college: USC Aiken) accounted for 24 points and 15 rebounds. American forward Noah Dahlman (201-89, college: Wofford) came up with 21 points and 5 rebounds and international forward Olaf Schaftenaar (208-93, college: Oregon St.) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Zwolle in the defeat. Four Rotterdam and five Zwolle players scored in double figures. Rotterdam moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Leeuwarden. Zwolle at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. Rotterdam will play against Amsterdam (#7) on the road in the next round. Zwolle will play against Den Helder (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
