Regular Season Round 7: Play Off - Tresnjevka 79-77

The most exciting game of round 7 in the WABA took place in Sarajevo. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Croatian Tresnjevka (3-4) to fourth ranked Bosnian Play Off (3-4) 79-77 in the game for the third place. Play Off made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Center Nikolina Dzebo (186-95) fired a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Miljana Dzombeta (169-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 26 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Point guard Nika Muhl (177-1) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals and forward Lucija Kostic (187-0) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Five Tresnjevka players scored in double figures. Defending Bosnian champion moved-up to third place in A, which they share with defeated Tresnjevka. Play Off is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Istanbul Uni (#6) on the road in the next round. Tresnjevka will play against the league's leader Buducnost and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
