Regular Season Round 7: Partizan - Ragusa 71-56

Bottom-ranked Croatian Ragusa (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 71-56 loss to ninth ranked Serbian Partizan (5-2) in Beograd on Thursday evening. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Guard Milica Mitrovic (175-93, college: Maine) fired 19 points for the winners. Guard Miljana Bojovic (181-87) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Partizan's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Karla Kalajzic (173-93) produced 13 points and 4 assists and forward Josipa Zovko (186-90) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Partizan moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Montana 2003. Ragusa lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Partizan will face Montana 2003 (#9) on the road in the next round. Ragusa will play against ZKK Medvescak and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
