The game in Selfoss was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Snaefell (7-3) played at the court of 8th ranked FSU (1-9). Snaefell managed to secure a 4-point victory 102-98. The best player for the winners was American guard Christian Covile (193-93, college: Adrian) who had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Viktor Alexandersson (180-97) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists. Point guard Ari Gylfason (186-89) produced 30 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Hlynur Hreinsson (174-92) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Snaefell and five FSU players scored in double figures. Snaefell have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Breidablik. FSU at the other side keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Snaefell's next round opponent will be Fjolnir (#6) in Reykjavik. FSU will play on the road against Breidablik in Kopavogur and hope to win that game.
