No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Osaka Evessa (6-13) won against at home 6th ranked Nishinomiya S. (4-15) 78-72 on Friday. Nishinomiya S. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for American-Panamanian forward Gyno Pomare (203-86, college: San Diego) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Naoya Kumagae (194-90) helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. Osaka Evessa's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 19 rebounds and the other American import guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Four Nishinomiya S. players scored in double figures. Osaka Evessa maintains fourth place with 6-13 record. Nishinomiya S. lost their eighth game in a row.
