Regular Season Round 12: Palma - CB Clavijo 95-76

Everything went according to plan when thirteenth ranked Palma (5-7) outplayed 17th ranked Cocinas.com (3-9) in S'Arenal 95-76. After very bad start, Cocinas.com stormed back in the second period cutting the deficit to 2 points 41-39. But it was not enough and Palma took back the control in second half. They were well out of reach of Cocinas.com shooting 72.5 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Palma especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was point guard Carles Bivia (189-85) who scored 15 points. Lithuanian center Gediminas Zyle (210-88, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Evan Yates (198-91, college: Ashland) who recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds and forward Carlos Martinez (200-96) added 14 points respectively. Four Palma and five Cocinas.com players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Palma moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Cocinas.com lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with nine games lost.
