Very expected game when 11th ranked Bolzano (3-7) was edged on the road by seventh ranked Scrivia (6-4) 62-60 on Saturday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Slovenian power forward Ana Ljubenovic (185-88) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. DR Congolese center Kintala Katshitshi (185-98) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Scrivia's coach Fabio Pozzi used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Croatian power forward Ivona Matic (189-86) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized Senegalese guard Safy Fall (176-89) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Scrivia maintains seventh position in A2 with 6-4 record. Loser Bolzano keeps the eleventh place with seven games lost. Scrivia will face league's second-placed Costa Masnaga on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Bolzano will play against Team Crema (#5) and hope to win that game.
