Regular Season Round 15: Levice - Nova Ves 90-63

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Nova Ves (2-13) were crushed on the road by second ranked Levice (12-3) 90-63. Levice dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Nova Ves' 32. Levice forced 21 Nova Ves turnovers. It was a good game for Slovenian guard Miha Vasl (192-92, agency: PEPI SPORT) who led his team to a victory with 15 points. International center Boris Bojanovsky (217-93, college: Florida St.) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Levice players scored in double figures. Coach Teo Hojc's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swiss forward Michel-Ofik Nzege (203-92, college: E.Carolina) answered with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Canadian guard Ryan Bennett (193, college: Brock) added 20 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Nova Ves. Levice maintains second place with 12-3 record behind leader Inter Bratislava. Nova Ves lost their tenth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Levice will play against Karlovka (#7) in Bratislava in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Nova Ves will play at home against Prievidza and hope to get back on the winning track.
