Regular Season Round 19: Shinshu BW - Hiroshima D. 57-58

Important game to mention about took place in Nagano. Fourth ranked Dragonflies (9-9) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 4th placed Shinshu BW (9-9) 58-57 in the game for the third place. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Clint Chapman (208-89, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Guard Seiya Tanaka (186-91) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Takei Hiroaki (182-91) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Shinshu BW. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Dragonflies moved-up to third place, which they share with Shinshu BW and Cyberdyne IR. Dragonflies will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Shinshu BW will play again at home against Dragonflies and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
