Regular Season Round 10: Roma SRB - Faenza 67-80

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Faenza (6-4) defeated on the road 9th ranked Roma SRB (3-5) 80-67 on Saturday. Faenza had a 28-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. Center Serena Soglia (186-0) fired 25 points (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) for the winners. Guard Licia Schwienbacher (170-95) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Israeli point guard Giulia Prosperi (180-97) produced 21 points and point guard Federica Pompei (162-98) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Faenza moved-up to fifth place in A2. Roma SRB at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Faenza will have a break next round. Roma SRB will play on the road against Orvieto (#7) and hope to win that game.
