They outrebounded Sestu 50-34 including a 40-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Giovanni Bruni (185-82, agency: Interperformances) who scored 26 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Michael Teghini (192-92) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Giuliano Samoggia (200-83) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and the former international Manuel Vanuzzo (203-75) added 9 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Basket Barcellona maintains first place in B with 10-1 record, which they share with Cento and Piacenza. Newly promoted Sestu keeps the eighth position with six games lost.
