Regular Season Round 6: Podravac Virje - Agrodalm 80-88

Undefeated leader Agrodalm delivered the sixth consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they beat 9th ranked Podravac Virje (2-4) 88-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Podravac Virje. 24 personal fouls committed by Podravac Virje helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was guard Domagoj Matic (-87) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Damir Mijic (201-87) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Agrodalm's coach Josko Garma used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Nikola Sestak (191-90) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Stefan Zadravec (186-92) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively. Agrodalm (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row, which they share with Gorica. Podravac Virje at the other side dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. They share the position with Sanac. Agrodalm is looking forward to face league's second-placed Gorica in Velika Gorica in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Podravac Virje will play on the road against Bulldogs (#4) in Zagreb and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
