There was a surprise result in Madrid where thirteenth ranked Real Canoe (5-6) defeated higher ranked Moron (6-5) 92-79 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Real Canoe. Moron was better in third quarter 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was center Jose-Maria Gil (207-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Ruben Martinez (196-85) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Real Canoe's coach Miguel Angel Aranzabal used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
