Regular Season Round 13: GKS Tychy - Polfarmex Kutno 80-93

The game in Tychy was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Polfarmex (9-3) played at the court of 7th ranked GKS Tychy (6-6). Polfarmex defeated GKS Tychy 93-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of GKS Tychy. Polfarmex shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) stepped up and scored 15 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners and swingman Mateusz Zebski (190-92) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side center Dawid Slupinski (206-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Filip Malgorzaciak (192-93) scored 21 points. Four Polfarmex and five GKS Tychy players scored in double figures. GKS Tychy's coach Tomasz Jagielka rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Polfarmex maintains fourth place with 9-3 record. GKS Tychy at the other side dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Polfarmex will play against league's second-placed Polonia Leszno at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. GKS Tychy will play against Nysa Klodzko (#15) in Kloszko and hopes to get back on the winning track.
