Regular Season Round 11: Sigal Prishtina - Trepca 123-61

Undefeated leader Sigal Prishtina delivered the tenth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Trepca (2-9) 123-61. Sigal Prishtina dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Trepca's 34. Sigal Prishtina forced 20 Trepca turnovers and outrebounded them 42-26 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sigal Prishtina shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Trepca's players. It was a great evening for British point guard Andrew Lawrence (185-90, college: Charleston) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 13 assists and 5 steals (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Forward Muhamedali Janjeva (200-98) helped adding 24 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Sigal Prishtina players scored in double figures. American guard Julian Hyden (201, college: Gwynedd-Mercy) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and the other American import forward Mark Williams (203, college: Temple) scored 7 points and 8 rebounds. Sigal Prishtina (10-0) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Loser Trepca stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. They share it with Borea. Sigal Prishtina will meet Xhebrailat (#4) in the next round. Trepca will play against Borea (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
