Regular Season Round 11: SAP Vaucluse - RAC Basket 85-84

A very interesting game took place in Sorgues. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Rueil (6-5) to seventeenth ranked SAP Vaucluse (4-7) 85-84 on Saturday evening. Point guard Yann Siegwarth (180-93) saved the victory by scoring 26 points and 5 assists. Adrien Thimon (188-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. SAP Vaucluse's coach Stephane Dao allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward Karim Gourari (204-89) answered with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals and American center Kyle Tresnak (208-92, college: Weber St.) added 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Rueil. Five SAP Vaucluse and four Rueil players scored in double figures. SAP Vaucluse moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Rueil at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. SAP Vaucluse's next round opponent will be league's leader Saint Vallier on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
